Campaign for Subaru Outback created in collaboration with comedy legends Billy Birmingham and Austen Tayshus. Based on the eighties comedy hit ‘Australiana’, a No.1 hit on the Australian charts in 1983, a position it held for 8 weeks. Disciple worked hand in hand with Billy and Austen to create a homage to this classic piece of Aussie culture, the result a brilliant comedic commentary about a quintessential Aussie family planning a holiday road trip, deciding ‘who was in’, and ‘who was out’. The campaign breaks the mould for car advertising, is a lot of fun and has created an enormous buzz on social media.
